The Victron Energy Lithium SuperPack 12.8V/100Ah-a is a high-capacity LiFePO₄ battery designed for demanding 12 V applications where both substantial energy storage and strong current delivery are required.

With a nominal capacity of 100 Ah and 1280 Wh of stored energy, this model is a major step up from the smaller SuperPack versions and is well suited to larger mobile, marine and off-grid installations where longer operating time and higher power capability are important.

A major advantage of the SuperPack range is its integrated Battery Management System (BMS) and internal safety switch. No separate external BMS is required. The battery automatically disconnects in the event of over-discharge, over-charge or excessively low or high temperature, helping to protect the cells and simplify system installation. 

The battery can deliver a maximum continuous discharge current of 100 A and a peak discharge current of 150 A for 10 seconds, making it suitable for considerably more demanding electrical loads than the smaller SuperPack models. The maximum continuous charging current is also 100 A. Recommended absorption charging voltage is 14.2–14.4 V, while the float voltage is 13.5 V.

LiFePO₄ technology also offers important advantages over conventional lead-acid batteries. According to Victron, the battery does not need to be fully recharged after each use, and operation at a partial state of charge is not harmful in the same way as with lead-acid technology. This makes it particularly suitable for solar, mobile and off-grid systems where full recharge is not always possible after every cycle. 

With a round-trip efficiency of 92% and a rated cycle life of 2500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and 25°C, the SuperPack is designed for efficient and dependable energy storage over an extended service period.

Parallel connection is permitted, while series connection is not allowed. The battery may be installed upright or on its permitted longest side, but it must not be mounted with both battery terminals facing downward.
