The Victron Energy Lithium SuperPack 12.8V/60Ah is a versatile LiFePO₄ battery that offers a substantial increase in energy capacity while maintaining the straightforward installation and integrated protection that characterize the SuperPack range.

With a nominal capacity of 60 Ah and 768 Wh of stored energy, this model is particularly suitable for medium-sized 12 V systems where longer operating time is required without moving to a significantly larger battery bank.

One of the main advantages of the SuperPack range is its integrated Battery Management System (BMS) and internal safety switch. No separate external BMS is required. The battery automatically disconnects when conditions such as over-discharge, over-charge or excessively low or high temperature occur, helping protect the cells and simplify installation. 

The battery can supply a maximum continuous discharge current of 30 A and a peak discharge current of 80 A for 10 seconds, making it suitable for many standard 12 V loads. The maximum continuous charging current is 30 A. Recommended absorption charging voltage is 14.2–14.4 V, while the float voltage is 13.5 V. 

The LiFePO₄ chemistry also provides important advantages compared with conventional lead-acid batteries. According to Victron, the battery does not need to be fully charged after every cycle, and partial-state-of-charge operation is not harmful in the same way as with lead-acid technology. This makes the SuperPack particularly suitable for mobile, solar and off-grid applications. 

With a round-trip efficiency of 92% and a rated cycle life of 2500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and 25°C, the SuperPack is designed to provide efficient and dependable energy storage over a long service period.

Parallel connection is permitted, while series connection is not allowed. The battery may be installed upright or on its permitted longest side, but it must not be positioned with both terminals facing downward.
