The Deye SUN-8K-SG06LP1-EU is a powerful 8kW single-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter designed for larger residential and light-commercial photovoltaic systems requiring battery storage, backup power and intelligent energy management.

Compatible with both lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries, the inverter operates within a 40–60V battery voltage range and supports a maximum charging and discharging current of 185A. Automatic BMS adaptation helps simplify integration with compatible lithium battery systems.

On the photovoltaic side, the inverter supports up to 16kW of connected PV capacity and a maximum DC input power of 12.8kW. Three independent MPPT trackers provide greater flexibility for installations with multiple roof orientations or different PV array configurations. The MPPT operating range is 150–425V, with a maximum PV input voltage of 500V.

For backup and off-grid applications, the inverter can provide up to twice its rated power for 10 seconds, making it suitable for loads with high start-up demand. It also supports a maximum continuous AC passthrough current of 65A.

Advanced energy-management functions include six programmable battery charging and discharging periods, AC coupling for retrofitting existing solar systems, support for storing energy from a diesel generator and parallel operation of up to 16 inverters for both on-grid and off-grid applications.
