The Deye SUN-5K-SG06LP1-EU is a versatile 5kW single-phase low-voltage hybrid inverter designed for residential photovoltaic systems with battery storage, backup capability and intelligent energy management.

Compatible with both lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries, the inverter operates with a 40–60V battery voltage range and supports a maximum charging/discharging current of 120A. Automatic adaptation to the battery BMS helps simplify integration with compatible lithium battery systems.

On the photovoltaic side, the 5kW model supports up to 10kW of connected PV capacity and a maximum usable PV input power of 8kW. It features two independent MPPT trackers, each with one PV string, providing flexible array configuration and efficient energy harvesting across varying roof orientations or solar conditions.

For backup and off-grid applications, the inverter can deliver up to twice its rated power for 10 seconds, helping support temporary high-starting-current loads. It also provides a maximum continuous AC passthrough current of 50A from the grid to the load.

The SUN-5K-SG06LP1-EU offers six programmable battery charging and discharging time periods, supports AC coupling for retrofitting existing solar installations and can store energy from a diesel generator. Up to 16 inverters can be connected in parallel for both grid-connected and off-grid operation, while multiple batteries can also be operated in parallel.

With a maximum efficiency of 97.6%, natural cooling, low operating noise and an IP65-rated enclosure, the inverter is suitable for dependable residential energy-management applications.
