The BYD Battery-Box HVS+ is a premium high-voltage lithium iron phosphate energy storage system designed for modern residential solar installations. With its modular tower design, high safety level and excellent inverter compatibility, the HVS+ series offers a flexible and reliable solution for on-grid, backup and compatible off-grid energy storage applications.

This product is offered as a complete BYD Battery-Box HVS+ tower set, available in different capacities from 5.12kWh up to 12.8kWh. Each complete set includes the required BYD BCU / BMS control unit and the selected number of HVS+ battery modules. The smallest configuration consists of 2 battery modules + 1 BCU / BMS, creating a 5.12kWh tower. The largest single tower configuration consists of 5 battery modules + 1 BCU / BMS, creating a 12.8kWh tower.

Each HVS+ battery module has a designed capacity of 2.56kWh and a nominal voltage of 102.4V. By stacking multiple modules together with the BYD BCU / BMS and base unit, a complete high-voltage battery tower is created. This modular concept makes the system easy to configure, install and expand according to the required storage capacity.

The BYD Battery-Box HVS+ uses safe and durable LiFePO4 battery technology, known for its thermal stability, long service life and reliable performance. The system is designed for high efficiency, with a round-trip efficiency of ≥95%, and supports a maximum charge/discharge power of up to 12.8kW per tower, depending on the system configuration and connected inverter.

The HVS+ system supports CAN / RS485 communication and is compatible with leading single-phase and three-phase hybrid inverters according to the official BYD Battery-Box compatibility list. When configured with the correct inverter and BYD system components, the system supports intelligent battery management, automatic SOC adjustment, remote diagnosis and OTA firmware updates.

Thanks to the patented internal plug connection, smart configuration and quick wiring design, the BYD Battery-Box HVS+ is built for professional and efficient installation. The floor-standing tower design is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation and offers an IP55 protection rating, making it suitable for a wide range of residential energy storage projects.

Important compatibility note

A complete BYD Battery-Box HVS+ system requires the correct number of HVS+ battery modules, the BYD BCU / BMS control unit and a compatible inverter. Always check the latest BYD Battery-Box compatibility list and the inverter manufacturer’s installation requirements before ordering or installation.

Only BYD HVS+ battery modules may be used within an HVS+ tower. Different BYD battery module types, such as HVB, HVS+ and HVM+, must not be mixed in the same battery tower or parallel battery system.

The final usable system capacity and performance may depend on the selected inverter, firmware version, installation method and official BYD compatibility requirements.
