Each Pylontech Fidus PRO 5.12kWh module operates at 51.2V low voltage and is designed for safe, flexible and scalable energy storage. Thanks to its IP65 protection rating and robust housing, the Fidus PRO is suitable for demanding installation environments, including outdoor-ready applications when installed according to the official manual.

The system is equipped with an integrated BMS and supports CAN/RS485 communication, making it suitable for use with compatible solar, hybrid inverter and PCS platforms. Final compatibility must always be checked based on the inverter manufacturer’s compatibility list, settings and project requirements.

Scalability & system sizing

Notes for installers

Compatibility:
The Fidus PRO communicates via CAN/RS485 and can work with many compatible inverter and PCS platforms. Always verify the inverter compatibility list, communication settings and installation requirements for the specific project.

Cold weather:
The EU-Pro version includes a heating function to support cold-start and operation in low temperatures. Actual system behavior depends on the configuration, BMS conditions and installation environment.

Real-world sizing & performance:
Battery performance can degrade at temperatures above 50°C or below 0°C. Maximum module counts and achievable system capacity may also depend on inverter/PCS limits, wiring topology and installation method, such as rack, cabinet or wall-mounted configuration.
