KOSTAL PLENTICORE G3 DC Overvoltage Protection Module Type 2 is an optional plug-in protection module designed to safeguard the DC side of KOSTAL PLENTICORE G3 inverters against external overvoltage events. It is developed as a retrofit solution, allowing installers to add reliable DC surge protection at a later stage with a simple Plug & Play installation and no additional cabling required.

This module is compatible with the PLENTICORE G3 series and integrates directly into the inverter as an internal plug-in unit. After installation, the inverter automatically detects and activates the module, while status, triggering, and failure detection can be monitored via the inverter display or web server, as well as through the KOSTAL Solar Portal and KOSTAL Solar App.
