The Victron SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200-Tr 48V solar charger collects energy from your solar panels and stores it in your batteries. The MPPT RS SmartSolar is a 48V Solar charge controller with a maximum of 450VDC PV input and 200A output. It is used in on-grid and off-grid solar applications where maximum battery charging capacity is required.

Display and Bluetooth
The display shows the parameters of the battery and the solar charge controller. The parameters can be accessed with a smartphone or other Bluetooth device. In addition, Bluetooth can be used to set up the system and change settings with VictronConnect.

PV insulation resistance monitoring for peace of mind at higher voltages
The MPPT RS continuously monitors the PV generator and can detect if there are faults that reduce the insulation of the panels to unsafe levels.

VE.Can and VE.Direct port
Connects to a GX device for remote system monitoring, data logging and firmware updates. VE.Can makes it possible to connect up to 25 units in parallel and synchronize their charging.

I/O connections
Programmable relay, temperature sensor, auxiliary, digital input and voltage sensor connections. The external input can accept the Victron smallBMS and any other BMS with state of charge signal. Please note: only item ASS000020000 is suitable as a temperature sensor. This sensor has a resistance of 12 kOhm at room temperature.

A built-in Smart Bluetooth connection allows for quick monitoring or adjustment of the MPPT RS settings. The built-in 30-day history shows the individual performance of the individual MPPT trackers.
