Two AC outputs
The main output has an interruption-free functionality. The MultiPlus takes over the power supply of the connected loads in the event of a power failure or if the shore/aggregate power is interrupted.
This happens so fast (in less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic devices can continue to function undisturbed.
The second output only becomes active if AC voltage is available at one of the inputs of the MultiPlus. Loads that should not discharge the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output (second output available with models of 3 kVA and more).
Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel connection
Up to six Multis can be connected in parallel to deliver greater power. For example, with six 24/5000/120 units, an output power of 25 kW / 30 kVA with 720 A charging power can be achieved.
Three-phase circuit
In addition to the parallel circuit, three units of the same model can be configured for three-phase output. But that's not all: up to 6 sets of three units can be connected in parallel for an inverter power of 75 kW / 90 kVA and a charging capacity of more than 2000 A.
PowerControl - Maximum use of limited generator, shore or mains power
The MultiPlus is a very powerful battery charger. This means a heavy load on the generator or shore connection (almost 10 A per 5 kVA Multi at 230 VAC). With the Multi control panel, a maximum aggregate or shore power can be set. The MultiPlus then takes other power consumers into account and only uses the current that is still 'left' for charging , so that the generator or alconnection is not overloaded.
PowerAssist – do more with aggregate or shore power
This function adds an extra dimension to the PowerControl principle. This allows the MultiPlus to supplement the capacity of the alternative source. Where peak current is often only needed for a short time, the MultiPlus ensures that insufficient shore or aggregate power is immediately compensated with power from the battery. If the load decreases, the reserve current is used to recharge the battery.
Solar energy: AC voltage always available - even during a grid failure
The MultiPlus can be used in both autonomous and grid-connected PV and other alternative energy systems.
Software to detect loss of power supply is available.
System Configuration
- In the case of a standalone application, if the settings need to be changed, this can be done within minutes via a DIP switch setup procedure.
- Parallel and three-phase applications can be configured with the VE software. Bus Quick Configure and VE. Bus System Configurator.
- Autonomous, grid-interactive and proprietary consumption applications, with inverters and/or MPPT solar chargers, can be configured with assistants (application-oriented software for specific applications).
On-site monitoring and control
There are several options available: Battery Monitor, Multi Control Panel, Color Control GX and other GX devices, smartphone or tablet (Bluetooth Smart), laptop or PC (USB or RS232).
Remote monitoring and control
Color Control GX and other GX devices.
Data can be stored and displayed, free of charge, on our VRM (Victron Remote Management) website.
Remote configuration
When connected to the Ethernet, systems with a Color Control GX and other GX devices can be accessed and settings can be changed.
